It’ll take a while, but big changes are coming to Cripple Creek’s historic downtown. Full House Resorts, the owner of Bronco Billy’s Casino, has unveiled plans to build a four-star, 150-room resort hotel that will wrap around the existing casino. The hotel will feature 15,000 square feet of meeting/event space, a parking structure, a heated swimming pool and a Michelin-rated restaurant. It will also include the historic Imperial Hotel and casino. It should be a game-changer for Cripple Creek, attracting affluent visitors and Pikes Peak region residents that might otherwise go to Blackhawk.
