More than 20 Downtown businesses join an afternoon of Halloween fun
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — Who says you have to outgrow trick-or-treating? The fourth annual Downtown Candy Crawl welcomes Halloween fans of all ages on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 2 to 5 p.m., with more than 20 Downtown businesses offering candy, treats, and a few surprises.
Presented by Downtown Colorado Springs, the event invites families, friends, and costume enthusiasts to explore Downtown. Kids are welcome, but adults don’t need a little one in tow to join the fun.
“I don’t think there should be an age limit on dressing up and collecting candy,” said Kelsee Swenn, Marketing Manager for the Downtown Partnership. “Candy Crawl is a fun excuse to get your kids, your friends, or your partner Downtown and just enjoy being a little silly together. And along the way, you might walk into a shop you’ve never visited and find a new favorite. I love that we can bring people together and support our small businesses with something as simple as trick-or-treating.”
Tickets are $5 per person and are available at DowntownCS.com/crawl. Each candy recipient needs an individual ticket. Digital passports are delivered by text and email, include a list of all stops, and there’s no app download required.
Participants also can enter to win a $50 Downtown Gift Card by sharing a photo of themselves in costume at any Downtown location and tagging @downtown_cs on Instagram or Downtown Colorado Springs on Facebook.
Visit DowntownCS.com/crawl for tickets and event details.
