Support and Adore Your Local Farmers Market

Colorado Farmers market

7 min read

Whether you are new to the Pikes Peak region (hello, so glad you’re here!) or a lifelong local, Colorado farmers markets are the quintessential summer experience to love and support our beautiful state. From celebrating local growers and ranchers, meeting unique artisans from across the Front Range, or sampling the best of the best small-batch bakers and cuisine makers, farmers markets offer a perfect day out for every member of the family. Take a taste at these popular markets; we think you will return to them again and again.

Old Colorado City

The Old Colorado City Farmers Market has been a regional staple for 40 years. Since 1985, local growers and artisans have sold their high-quality goodies, from fresh seasonal produce and specialty food products to Colorado-made handcrafted items. With full-time vendors, there is something for everyone.

In December 2025, they introduced a new local holiday tradition: The Old Colorado City Chriskindlmarket. Its German influence and charm brought a new magic to Old Colorado City with its Christmas Village. Look for its return in December 2026.
