(PUEBLO, CO – June 8, 2026) The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce & Visit Pueblo will be hosting the 3rd Annual Dog Days of Summer Community Dog Walk at the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk on Wednesday, June 10th from 6:30PM to 8:30PM.

This community event will be the anchor of Pueblo Dog Week, which has become a permanent campaign for Visit Pueblo, highlighting dog friendly amenities for locals and tourists!

The Mayor of Pueblo, Heather Graham will be leading the Community Dog Walk, with her dog “Lucy” at 7:15PM.

Visit Pueblo along with 22 other local vendors, shelters and pet-based organizations will have booths set up along the Riverwalk in Gateway Plaza. Dogs & owners will receive giveaways, treats and helpful information on caring & traveling with their pets!

The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak will be on site, as well with active officers of the animal law enforcement (ALE), to ensure a safe evening for all.

Restaurants located on the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk will be offering special discounts and treats for any attendees & their dogs, during the night.
This is not a structured walk, pets and their owners are free to walk our beautiful Riverwalk at their own pace and leisure.

This event is open and free to the public. All dogs in attendance must be on a leash at all times. Owners are expected to have water and waste bags on hand for their pets.

All parking in Downtown Pueblo is free. For parking we recommend using the Main Street parking garages.
