Christmas Mountain Lighting and Parade of Lights

Come join Salida for the Christmas Mountain Lighting and the Parade of Lights—annual events held the day after Thanksgiving. Salida’s S Mountain becomes Christmas Mountain just as Riverside Park becomes Holiday Park. First, a parade runs down F Street at 6:00 p.m., then SteamPlant Event Center hosts an open house with cocoa, cookies, and more. Stores are open late, and restaurants and bars will welcome you in.
