TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS
Presented by Phamaly Theatre Company
Based on the book by Cheryl Strayed
Adapted for the stage by Nia Vardalos
Co-conceived by Marshall Heyman, Thomas Kail, and Nia Vardalos
Directed by Stacey D’Angelo & Ben Raanan
Centered on an anonymous advice columnist known as “Sugar,” the play weaves together the intimate letters of people searching for connection, healing, and meaning. In this new take on the script, Phamaly will be casting over 100 disabled actors from across the world, intertwining video-storytelling and in-person human connection. In an international tour de force, Tiny Beautiful Things reminds us that even in our most vulnerable moments, we are never truly alone. As the nation’s longest-running disability theatre, Phamaly is proud to present this deeply moving and sharply funny celebration of what it means to be human.
